Polaroid have announced their entry into the smart phone arena on Friday (though they didn’t seem to mention that it is a phone at the time. Leaving an incredible amount of confusion between different websites). They have finally done what I’ve been wanting on a phone for years OPTICAL ZOOM.

After Simon left Population Four the future seemed very uncertain. All the band members seemed so close it was impossible to imagine anyone else filling the drum stool. As of today that uncertainty has ended for the worse with the announcement that Population Four is to disband. I’ve been photographing them for years but now it’ll be no more. This is another blow for Preston after last month with March and Stormcorporation also calling it a day.
