Scope of works:

To supply a hydraulic cutting tool which would be capable  of performing underwater in a simulated cooling pond. This was to simultaneously cut 24 bars of stainless steel with a rod diameter of 10mm.

Equipment supplied:

Cutter package comprising – JAG SPHGC250 hydraulic guillotine cutter with specially designed cutting blades, additional mounting brackets designed to suspend the hydraulic cutter securely in place while being lowered and raised from the simulated cooling pond, the cutter was ordered with optional replacement blade sets to allow minimal downtime during maintenance requirements
Hydraulic power pack comprising – High pressure pump unit including heat exchanger, roll cage, 15M hydraulic hose assemblies, external pressure relief valve with pressure gauge assemblies.

Order awarded:

JAG hydraulic cutting equipment was chosen for this application because of its proven track record, unique cutting capacity and could perform the specialist cutting operation which forfilled the technical brief
