JAG XLT Series cable cutters
JAG XLT Series Hydraulic Cutter Heads are designed as Emergency disconnection/ release cutters with double acting cylinders for reliable operation. The straight edged double-bladed cutting system helps to maximise the power to weight ratio for cutting fibre ropes, power cables, hose lines and telecom cables.
The cutting equipment is designed with a built in 4:1 safety factor and a maximum working pressure of 10,000 PSI. They are manufactured, inspected and tested in accordance with the relevant requirements of the recognised technical standards: EN -ISO – Hydraulic fluid power for safety requirements of systems / components. EN – ISO – Safety of machinery for design/risk assessment/risk reduction and are certified accordingly. They conform with the relevant essential health and safety requirements as laid down in the machinery directive, pressure equipment directive and are CE marked accordingly.

JAG HCU series hydraulic cutter units are designed for remote cutting operations with double acting cylinders and a concaved edged single blade cutting system to ensure a clean and full cut of the finest and toughest fibre ropes, power cables, hose lines, telecom cables and umbilical cables, this model can also cut wire ropes, rebars and tubes.
